Daddy’s Pretty Girls
Vacation!
We had a blast on a long overdue vacation to Savannah, Georgia – Tybee Island, exactly. We had not been able to take several consecutive “unplugged” days in about 18 months, so we really appreciated this time together. I think all involved were thankful that Daddy left the BlackBerry behind for once – it did Daddy quite a bit of good, too.
This was Joey’s first trip to the beach, and Emmy and Vika love going back. We expect to be more intentional about scheduling times like this, not necessarily big trips to the beach, but focused family time without work getting in the way.
By far, the highlight of the trip was the dolphin tour, and if you are ever in this area I’d highly recommend it. I’ve never seen so many dolphin in one place – as many as 20 in one area. They’d come right up to the side of the boat, or they’d chase the boat (six or seven at a time, side by side). They like those waves for some reason.
Graduation Days
Emmy and Vika both graduated from preschool this week. Here are a few pictures from each graduation ceremony. Off to Kindergarten they go. Daddy loves his girls!
